The Lash Boutique

I have to let you in on a big secret. I got lash extensions and I seriously love them. I partnered with The Lash Boutique to try out Novalash and words can’t describe the results. Jamie is the owner and licensed Novalash stylist behind The Lash Boutique, Northern Kentucky’s only eyelash extension salon (located quite conveniently inside Nines-favorite Pretty Pony Boutique). As a new mom, I don’t have much time for full-on glam these days. However, my lashes are probably my favorite part of my beauty routine and I love the look of full and curled lashes. I was beyond excited by the prospect of eyelash extensions and the idea of actually being able to say “I woke up like this”. Jamie is so sweet and really made me feel super comfortable. She shared with me the process that each lash would be individually applied and then asked what kind of look I liked. I definitely didn’t want full glamazon, but I wanted something a little more than just a mascara-look and she happily complied. The process did take about 90 minutes, but she informed me that since my lashes are naturally long but straight, it could take longer than normal to get them all to go the right direction. We put on a 90s playlist and she got to work. The before and after should speak for itself. Pardon the super-scary, no-makeup before pics (thank god for brow pencils!), but we’re all girlfriends here, right?!  After the initial application of the full set, the lashes can be maintained every two to four weeks, where those that have naturally fallen out, or any that are loose, are reapplied and filled back in. So once they’re on, they last as long as they can be maintained. I, for one, am in love. The lashes are light, unnoticeable, and feel like such a worthwhile investment.
So if you are like me and have been thinking that a fresh set of serious lashes sound like an awesome idea, check out Jamie and The Lash Boutique

Big thanks Jamie for the opportunity to experience Novalash!
