Greetings from Missouri! I’m here in a lake house with my family for the week but didn’t want to neglect sharing my recent empties. This is a pretty light roundup but it focuses heavily on moisturizers which I love to chat about! While a few of these are repeats [which proves how much I love them], without further adieu, here’s what I used up lately:
La Roche Posay Anthelios Cooling Water Lotion Sunscreen – This is my all-time favorite sunscreen. My derm actually supports me using this and it rubs in better than any other sunscreen I’ve tried. I love LRP products and this is worth every penny. I truly feel protected in this without feeling caked down with heavily scented sunscreen. If you’re in the market for new sun care products, definitely try this line.
L’Oreal Sponge – This is a super affordable and super effective makeup sponge! When wet, it becomes HUGE which is great for bouncing foundation in. The contoured tip also works double-duty for blending in concealer under the eyes. I highly recommend checking this one out.
Tinkle Razor – Yes, I shave my face now. I do this about once a month and it is so much cheaper and less painful than at-home waxing or tweezing. The trick to this is shave upwards on the lower half of your face and shave downwards on the top half. I use this for my upper lip, chin, in between the brows, and underneath the cheek bones. I find my skincare and makeup go on so much smoother and it is so easy once you get the hang of it.
Urban Decay Lipstick in ‘Amulet’ – This is a gorgeous nude/mauve for everyday in an incredibly blendable formula. I rarely finish up lipsticks but this one was a winner. I love UD lip products [try ’69’ for the BEST Taylor Swift-esque Red]. You can usually grab these on sale at Sephora or Nordstrom so give them a go if you’re a lipstick junkie.
So, there you have it! Short but sweet. Lots of my holy-grail moisturizers [for the whole family!] included in this roundup, as well as a few tools and tricks I have up my sleeve for good now. Thanks for stopping by!
