Hi Guys! Happy Friday and happy almost August. It’s truly mind-blowing. This month brought some travel, lots of plans, and tons of being busy, but as summer months usually go, the theme of this month is body care, mostly moisturizers and shower products. Let’s dive in.
Smarty Pants Kids Formula and Fiber – These are a GAME CHANGER. Poor Dillo has had such a sensitive tummy since he was a baby and suffered from chronic constipation. His poops would entail a 20 minute session on the toilet with him screaming and crying and having to push so hard. I started him on these and legit within 3 days he was going daily with no pain! Also, I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence, but since he started these, he has been happier, more talkative, sleeping hard, and all around more well. Seriously, we will buy these for the foreseeable future and beyond. The 12K reviews don’t lie. I only wish we would’ve started these earlier.
Dr Teals Kids Elderberry Bath – I bought this on a whim and we really liked it! Now, I don’t know if elderberry does anything topically, but it smells really good and is affordable.
Aveeno Yogurt Body Wash [Vanilla] – I’ve shared some bougier body washes in the past, and while I stand by those recommendations, I have to say that in the warmer months I really don’t need the bouj. This one from Aveeno is under $10, smells great, lathers nicely [I even use this to shave], and does the job. In colder, drier months I’ll likely go back to my more lux body washes, but for now, this one does the job. I just repurchased a backup.
L’Occitane Amande Hand Cream – Speaking of bougie, these hand creams are just that. But, they do work incredibly well. They smell amazing and do a great job of hydrating your hands, nails, and cuticles. These come in gift sets so I recommend picking up a few and keeping one for yourself.
Sol de Janiero Coco Cabana Cream – I believe this was a sample from Sephora and it is really nice! I still think I prefer the Creme de Corps, but this smells like summer and is a super thick moisturizer. This brand usually doesn’t disappoint
