4th of July Photo Diary

Over 4th of July weekend, Mike, Dillon, and I went back to Chicago to meet up with my sister and her family and throw my parents a party to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! It was such an awesome weekend full of love, life, and laughter, and I wanted to share these photos so that I would always have an easy way to look back on the time spent. I’ll also link up my outfits [because what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t?!] as well as some details on what we did. I hope you all had as good of a holiday weekend as I did!

Did a standard Target run with the kids then reunited with my lifelong best friends and got to meet my friend’s new son! Dillon and him were so cute together!

On the actual 4th, we went to my parents’ neighborhood parade, took a dip at the pool at Lifetime, and then went to the fireworks at Cerney Park! The show was SO good!

The grand finale of the weekend was throwing my parents an anniversary party! We hosted 30 of their closest friends for dinner and drinks and it was a beautiful, hilarious, emotional, and super sweet night. I am so glad we were able to pull this off and seeing them beaming all night was priceless!
