Happy Wednesday! I cannot believe tomorrow is the 4th of July! Dillon and I are currently in Chicago with my family because my sister and I are throwing my parents a party to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend! In honor of it being 7/3, I thought I’d mix it up a bit and share 73 questions with me! I totally stole this from Dana and thought it would be a fun way for you guys to get to know me a bit better! So, let’s dive in.
Where is your favorite place to be? honestly, any where my family is, whether immediate or extended.
What is something that you can’t live without? Dry shampoo, sparkling water, and comfy dresses.
What is a secret talent of yours? Oh gosh, I’m decent at hula-hooping?! In high school I ran track competitively and was pretty good at hurdling!
What are 3 words to describe yourself? Driven, organized, and caring.
Where do you get inspiration from? Pinterest usually. Also, I’ve been known to get random fashion inspiration from nature [especially the ocean]. The color combinations and textures will drive me to put together new pairings.
What is your favorite animal? Domestic: dogs. Wild: Probably dolphins/whales. I love the ocean!
What is your favorite snack food? I honestly don’t snack that much in general but I can get down on a bag of chips, especially buffalo/bbq. I always will pick savory over sweet so something in that category.
What is your favorite piece of makeup? L’Oreal Mascara, currently Lash Paradise!
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Don’t save things for a “special occasion”, being alive today is a special occasion.
What is the last book that you read? The Girl He Used To Know
What is your favorite genre of music? I like legit everything and my taste is all over the place. If I had to pick just one, I’d probably go with pop just because I can always listen to that, but if I’m going to a concert, I’d always prefer indie/folk.
What celebrity do you want to be BFF’s with? It’s too hard to choose one! Chrissy Teigen, Mindy Kaling, Jennifer Lawrence. Basically I love funny, quirky, and stylish women!
What is your biggest regret? Not studying abroad in college.
What is one thing on your bucket list? Visit all 6 continents [I don’t count Antarctica haha].
What is your favorite quote? Remember that you once dreamed of being where you are now.
What is your favorite sport to play and to watch? Play: um, does swimming count?! Watch: Football
What is your favorite place that you have ever visited? Tie between Cinque Terre and Greece
What is your guilty pleasure? Reality TV. I’ve cut way back in recent years, but I will forever love Real World/The Challenge/etc.
What is your biggest achievement? Professionally, I’d say winning awards at my company for my contributions. Personally, being a mom.
What is the best thing to happen to you this month? Getting to help throw one of my very best friends’ baby shower!
What is your go to coffee order? Black coffee with unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
What is your favorite non-alcoholic beverage? Sparkling water or [diet] lemonade.
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage? Wine or bourbon, depending how I’m feeling.
What is your favorite movie? Oh gosh, that is an impossible question. Serious: Life Is Beautiful. Comedy: Bridesmaids. Romantic: Dirty Dancing. 80s: Breakfast Club. Disney: Mulan. Ugh, I cannot choose one! I love sooo many movies.
What is something that you can’t do but wish you could? Drive a stick-shift.
What is a bad habit of yours? I have a pretty short fuse and can get frustrated/impatient easily.
If you could have someone else’s closet, whose would it be? Priyanka Chopra.
Favorite way to spend a rainy day? Reading in bed with coffee [or wine].
What is an ideal date? Pretty cliche, but dinner and a movie! Or a concert.
Who is your celeb crush (boy and girl)? Ryan Reynolds + Blake Lively.
What is your favorite day of the week? Saturday.
What is your favorite type of breakfast food? Splurge/weekend: I’m definitely a savory gal. Either a breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich [I want eggs, meat, and potatoes all at once!]. Everyday: green smoothie.
What is your favorite meal to have for dinner? Sushi, Indian, or Mexican.
What is your favorite color? Orange.
What is your guilty pleasure TV show? Currently: Jane the Virgin! I’m obsessed.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up? Give Dillon a million kisses and then check my phone.
What is your favorite season? Summer.
What are your three favorite holidays? Thanksgiving and 4th of July. Can’t really think of another one I love. When I was younger I love St. Patrick’s and Cinco de Mayo for the parties, haha.
How do you relax? Take a bath and read a book.
What makes you smile the most? Dillon.
What is the best gift you’ve ever received? Not sure if this would be considered a gift [it sure was to me], but I was fortunate to have my parents work their butts off to save enough to send me to college.
If you had a tattoo, what would it be and where would it be? I already have 3 ;). No more for this ol’ gal.
What is a travel must have? A good camera to capture everything.
What is your favorite clothing brand or store? I shop the most at Nordstrom + Shopbop. It would be impossible to pick a favorite brand! My closet is all over the place.
What is your favorite smell? Anything lavender and/or citrus-y.

When was the last time you cried? Last night [happy tears], when I had a super sweet encounter with Dillon while putting him to bed.
Were you named after someone? Nope, my name was originally going to be something else and my sister intervened so my parents landed on my name.
What is your least favorite food? Beets.
What is your least favorite word? Going to have to agree with Dana, “moist”. BLEGH.
What is your pet peeve? people who are always late.
What is your favorite time of the day? The wind-down time at night before bed. Whether it’s being out with my girlfriends or hanging on the couch with Mike.
If you could travel with anyone, who would it be? Mike or my sister.
Do you prefer vintage or new? New.
When is your birthday and what is your sign? August 25th. I am the epitome of a Virgo!
What is a skill that you are working on? Giving people more grace/taking things less personally.
What is your dream job? If money were no object, I’d probably own a boutique of some sort.
If you could live anywhere in the country, where would you live? Probably Austin, TX.
What are some of your favorite baby names? I love boys names that end in N and girls names that in A! For girls I love Gia, Ava, Arya, and Lila. For boys I love Jayden, Zain, and Declan.
Are you an introvert or extrovert? Growing up, I was 100% an extrovert. As I’m getting older, I find myself leaning towards introvert. So introverted extrovert?

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Hands down Mint Chocolate Chip [but it has to be green]. Baskin Robbins Mint is amazing. Also a sucker for brownie, banana, and marshmallow as options. My Coldstone order is Sweet Cream with brownie and banana mixed in. My Graeters order is one scoop chocolate brownie and one scoop smores!
What is your favorite fashion trend of all time? Do dresses with pockets count? LOL. I love delicate gold jewelry and statement earrings? Also, a big fan of the hair accessories right now [pearl clips, headbands, etc]. So, I guess the varying accessory trends.
How would you describe your style? All over the place! Sometimes I want to be edgy, sometimes I want to be trendy, sometimes I want to be classic, sometimes I want to be feminine. I’ve curated a wardrobe that allows me to mix and match and be whatever I’m feeling that day. I love it!
If you could have one superpower what would it be? Same as Dana again – Teleport for sure!
What is your favorite curse word? the F word.
What is the priciest thing you’ve ever splurged on? My car.
What is one item that you must have in your purse at all times? My wallet.
Where does one go on a perfect road trip? I like road trips where you can stop in multiple cities along the way to see something new.
Do you prefer cooking or baking? Cooking. Luckily I snagged a man who can bake!
Are you a shoe or handbag gal? Definitely bags.
How would you like to be remembered? A great mom, wife, and friend who always went out of her way to make people feel special and loved.
