Last week I shared my Napa travel diary from the weekend Mike and I spent out there, but today I wanted to share what I wore during the week while I was there. I was actually there for a week-long work conference that involved a ton of meetings, networking, dinners, and presentations. I knew I wanted to look really polished but still be comfortable since the days were SO long. I also only could pack in one suitcase for being there for 8 days, so I had to be strategic with my packing. I kept a similar mindset from my Scottsdale capsule wardrobe so you’ll see a lot of pieces mixed and matched here. Let me know if you like seeing business casual outfit ideas like this! Because I work from home, I don’t have to dress like this every week, but when I do I am always super inspired to put together fresh and professional outfits.
As always, first up is my travel outfit. This $10 dress [c/o] was so comfy on the flight!
We stayed at the Meritage and it was so beautiful! We ran a 5k the first morning there and so we got to see some killer views of the property.
The first night we had dinner at Celadon so I opted for this fun skirt that was polished but comfortable. The restaurant was SO cute!
I knew I wanted to bring this gorgeous puff-sleeve top with me and these printed pants were the perfect complement. They’re crazy old but I found a few similar pairs that I’ll link!
The second night we had a semi-formal awards gala so I opted for this $20 dress [c/o] that I got so many compliments on!
This band blazer [is that what it’s called?!] is a fun layer with some personality over otherwise basic/professional pieces. I actually got a ton of wear out of this and it looked great over this tie-waist LBD.
I fully intended to wear this look with the white heels, but it ended up being pretty cold on this day so I added on the jacket and swapped for the closed-toe flats. I think it ended up looking like a power suit that felt super chic.
One of the days we were allowed to be more casual since we were going to a winery in the afternoon. This dress was perfect for daytime meetings and nighttime drinking.
I made sure to pack neutral shoes so that I could easily mix and match with different looks and have both heel and flat options.
This was another casual outfit that I loved! This $13 top c/o [size down] is super cute and flattering. Paired with non-distressed denim and some fun earrings, it still looks polished without being too formal.
