I’m not going to lie, guys. At over 15 weeks pregnant, my body is WEIRD right now. I’ve lost 20 lbs due to my hyperemesis, but my belly is getting bigger everyday. That being said, clothes that used to fit are now too big, and it makes the desire to go shopping at a less than zero. What it is forcing me to do is to remix pieces I already have in my closet, mostly of which are dresses these days (due to growing belly + rising temps). I scored this dress at last year’s #nsale, and the flowy shape and feminine print is exactly what I keep going for. By adding in some marble elements [also seen here] and lace up flats, I had a look that was perfect for a quick date night al fresco with the hubby. I hope, if anything, my newfound need to wear the same type of ensemble over and over again gives you inspiration on how to make your closet work smarter, not harder. What other pieces would you like to see me style a few different ways? We still have over 5 months of this to go! Leave me a comment below.
Dress: Nordstrom [last year; similar here] // Jacket: Gap // Flats: Jeffrey Campbell // Necklace: Kendra Scott c/o // Sunnies: Quay // Bag: Vintage [similar here + love this under $20] // Watch: Michael Kors // X Ring: Charming Charlie [only $10]
