August Beauty Empties

Today I’m sharing what products I’ve used up over the last month. I try to do this series monthly, as I do go through a ton of products thanks to my day job! I’m totally a product junkie and love testing out new formulas and concepts. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these!

Body/Skin
L’Oreal Paris Hydra Genius Moisturizer – This moisturizer was great for the summer time. It has “liquid care” in the name, which is exactly what it is. I actually love to use this as a primer under my makeup! There’s bonus points because it comes in two versions, both for oily and dry skin so you can choose based on your needs. It probably won’t be enough for me in the winter, but this has become a warm-weather staple for me.
Garnier Micellar Towelettes – I’ve raved about these in previous empties so I won’t go on too long but these are the BEST towelettes I’ve ever used. I’ve gotten so many people hooked on these. I just haven’t found anything better. I typically go through at least one of these a month.
EOS Shave Cream – I LOVE the smell of this shave cream! It is heavenly. It also does a really good job getting me a smooth shave without any nicks. It makes your skin really soft, too!
Willing Beauty Daytime Moisturizer c/o – I have absolutely fallen in love with this line. I had actually never heard of it until they sent over the  HY+5 Regimen as PR and I really love these skincare products. In fact, the primer has become a total staple for me! This moisturizer is lightweight, smells good, and gives a subtle glow and freshness to the skin. I highly recommend checking this brand out if you’re a skincare junkie like me.
Skinceuticals Micro-Exfoliating Scrub – If you’re a longtime reader, you know I can be a bit bougie about my skincare. I love everything Skincueticals makes and this scrub is no exception. I’m a scrub girl through and through. Cream cleansers just don’t cut it for me. This one really gets everything off and leaves a soft, fresh base for my makeup. If you want a similar clean, but at a cheaper price, I think this is a good dupe. But if you’re into luxury skincare, definitely give this a try.

Cosmetics
Benefit POREfessional Primer – I got this in my Sephora PLAY! Box and I had really high hopes for it. People rave about it and I was excited to finally give it a go. It’s a good product, don’t get me wrong. However, it didn’t really wow me. Honestly, for pore-filling, I typically turn to this or this and I probably will stick to those.
L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer + Plumper – This is my holy-grail brow combo. I don’t even try other brow products because I don’t need to. These both work phenomenally well for me and have changed my brow game. I honestly go through these every month or two because I use them every single time I do my makeup. Plus, at the price, you can get both for way less than their high-end counterpart.
L’Oreal Infallible Super Slim Liner – This is my holy-grail liquid liner for when I want to do winged liner. I will say, recently I’ve been loving this, but this is the one I’ll always go back to. I’ve gone through probably ten of these over the years! It’s that good.
Up&Up Acetone Nail Polish Remover – I know acetone can be bad for your nails, but I have never had a nail polish remover take off my color as quickly as this. It can even get off glitter! It’s super cheap and really does the job.

Miscellaneous
Pure Joy Lavender Essential Oil – I’ve recently really gotten into essential oils and, to no surprise, lavender was the first to get used up. I diffuse this nightly in Dillon’s room and I really think it helps him sleep better. I also sometimes will rub a few drops on my temples and the bottom of my feet when I am in dire need of some good rest. I love anything to do with lavender in life, and diffusing this oil really has been a game-changer for sleep in the Chaulk house.
