August Empties

I am truly in shock with how fast August went by. Between visiting my parents in Austin, Dillon starting Kindergarten, going to the Western Southern open, and my 35th birthday, it was go-go-go. I went through a lot of products, including a lot of new-to-me items, so let’s dive in.

Derma E Scalp Relief Conditioner c/o – If you’ve been struggling with dry scalp, this conditioner really works. It smells pretty heavily of tea tree, but that’s why it works. It did soften my hair and really helped alleviate any scalp issues.

Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb Fragrance – This was included in my fragrance roundup and I love this. It is dainty and feminine and the perfect spritz for a date night.

Cerave Foaming Cleanser – I love Cerave products and this is no exception. They are clean, affordable, and do the job. This cleanser is really gentle but effective at getting makeup off.

Tarte Surfer Girl Mascara – I got this in a set with the bronzer and, ironically, it is a very lengthening mascara. I wasn’t super impressed with the volume element, but if you’re looking for length, this is a good one.

Tarte Bronzer – I LOVE this bronzer. I’ve recently started dabbling in cream products and this one is gorgeous. It’s super creamy, blendable, and the perfect shade. The travel size lasted me forever so it’s a great value, as well.

JR Watkins Lavender Soap – These soaps are lovely for a guest bath. They are hydrating, look pretty in the bottle, and smell SO good. I always keep a stock of these. At $5 a pop, you can’t go wrong.

Shea Moisture Daily Hydration Body Wash – This is dreamy. The coconut oil makes it super creamy and hydrating and the scent is subtle but fresh. This is a clean, fair trade brand that is super affordable.

Repeat Empties: Kids Elderberry // Smarty Pants Fiber Gummies // L’Oreal Brow Stylist // Rae In the Mood Supplement
