Spring/Summer Looks

Chambray + Lace

If you love barbeque, there is one MAJOR reason you have to come to Cincinnati. Yes, I said BBQ and Cincinnati. You probably think I’m crazy but trust me. I’ve lived in Kansas City and my sister lives in Texas, so I’ve had some great barbeque. But Cincinnati is the home to Eli’s Barbeque. You guys, this stuff is amazing. Everything from their pulled pork to their mac and cheese to their rib tips is to die for. Whenever we have had friends visit from Chicago or Wisconsin or elsewhere, that’s the first place Mike and I will take them to eat. It’s always a hit. The atmosphere is super cool, too. Think records playing, BYOB, soda in bottles, and a huge outdoor tent with live bands. On Saturday afternoon, we went with some friends and had a taste of nothing short of heaven.

For this outing, I decided to transition one of my favorite summer dresses (this was actually the dress I wore in our engagement photos last summer) to fall with nude/cognac accessories.

Dress: J.Crew (old but I love thisthis, and this) // Chambray: Ralph Lauren Denim + Supply // Bag: Michael Kors Hamilton (silver hardware no longer available) // Sandals: Avenue (old but these are cute) // Earrings: Baublebar (old but I love these) // Cage Ring: Forever 21 // Tassel Bracelet: Cathryn Ann Designs c/o // Watch: Michael Kors
