Current Makeup Routine

It’s been a while since I shared my makeup routine [the last time was here] and, let’s be honest, I do my makeup mabye once a week, but it’s still fun to experiment and not get out of the practice. Below I’ll share my current routine for when I’m actually putting my face on. I thought this was a great time to share this [right before the holidays] in case you have any parties to doll up for!

.) I do my regular morning skincare routine.

.) I blend my concealer under my eyes, on my eye lids, and on any spots with this sponge. This concealer is a new try for me, and it’s pretty fully coverage so I can get away with only using a little bit.

.) Go in with a 2 pumps of this CC cream all over my face using the same sponge from step 2.

.) Put a swipe of this cream bronzer in a “3 shape” under my cheek bone, jaw line, and hair line. Blend it in using the flat head brush from this set.

.) Pat a few dabs of this cream blush on the apples of my cheeks.

.) Use that same sponge to lightly press some powder under my eyes, on my nose, and under my cheek bones.

.) Go over the cream bronzer area with this powder bronzer with a big fluffy brush in the same “3 shape” and add this powder blush to the apples of my cheeks to set the cream products.

.) Using that same bronzer, I’ll use an eyeshadow brush to blend the bronzer into the crease of my eyes for a cohesive “eyeshadow” to give definition to my eyes.

.) Fill in my brows using this pencil and line my waterline with this pencil.

.) Curl my eyelashes [I swear this one is the best] and then use my mascara primer. While that sets, I’ll do a wing using this eyeliner.

.) Go in with two coats of this [which gives amazing length] followed by two coats of this [for mega volume]. I’ve been loving this combo lately!

.) Go in with a matte lipstick [currently loving this formula; the shade I’m wearing in the cover photo is “Doesn’t Matte-R”] and then swipe some highlighter onto the high points of my cheekbones.

.) Spray my face in a T and then X with this spray.

So, this is a bit more intensive than my summer routine, but the extra steps provide some good coverage, color, and definition that the winter months can strip. While it looks like a lot of steps, I can honestly do this in under 15 minutes normally. I hope this was helpful!
