Fall Beauty Faves

As I start to see Fall fashion slowly work its way into stores, it gets me really excited for layering and boot weather. It also reminds me that its time to swap out my bright summer makeup for more cool weather-appropriate neutrals. Here are some products I can’t live without in fall/winter:

I’m a serious experimenter when it comes to mascara. Really. I’ll try anything. I took a chance on Big Fatty by Urban Decay and I was impressed. The brush is thick and it creates great volume without the clumps. Find it here.
The end of summer marks the end of me having any sort of tan. I swear by this Flash Bronzer by Lancome. It’s a gelee and I mix a little in with my everyday moisturizer for just enough glow to get me through the cold weather months. The smell isn’t offensive like most self-tanners and the finish is subtle. Buy it here.
Like 99% of the female population, I’m an Essie junkie. I love this shade of green that is a part of their new fall collection. It’s called “fall in line”. It’s the perfect shade that is sure to match any of your staple pieces for the season. Browse the Fall 2014 collection here.

In the summer, I wear minimal makeup. I usually dust on some face powder and apply my everyday winged eyeliner and mascara look before I head out the door. However, I always find myself drawn to neutral eyeshadow colors in the Fall and Winter. This quad by L’Oreal is my current favorite. It’s called Perpetual Nude and the colors are gorgeous and the texture of the shadows is really velvety.
My hair needs TLC 24/7. This mask by Pureology is a godsend. Not only does it protect your color-treated hair, but its straightening powers are unlike any product I’ve ever tried before. It’s an all-in-one miracle worker.
I wear a lot of bright lip colors in the summer, but I definitely love switching to plums and nudes in the cold weather months. This YSL formula is deeply pigmented, but also moisturizing. It comes in a ton of shades, but my favorites for Fall are Rouge Filter and Mauve Pigmente. View all the shades here.
