January Empties

Happy end of January! This was a doozy start to 2022, eh?! I hope that you all stayed healthy and that we can move into the rest of the year with a bit more health and wellness. Let’s dive into what I finished this month [that was all spent at home!].

OGX Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo I always use sulfate free haircare, and love to get Keratin treatments, but not the price tag. I thought this would be a good staple to introduce in between treatments. I do feel like it made my hair softer and easier to straighten. I have some other S&C to work through, but I may go back to this in the future [especially in the summer].

Love Beauty Planet Lavender Conditioner This smells SO GOOD. And it did leave my hair very soft. Especially before bed, this was great. I am not loyal to S&C, and while this was good, I’ll probably try a few things before repurchasing this. That said, if you like clean haircare that is affordable, give this line a go.

Equate Vaporizing Rub You know how Windex is the cure-all in My Big Fat Greek Wedding? I feel like Vicks is that in Indian households! I tore through this bottle this winter. I put it on Dillon’s feet if he ever has a slight cough, and this does wonders before bed. I always have a bottle on hand but feel like I never talked about this before? Anyway, this is the GOAT product for coughs/congestion/colds. Just ask my mom 😉

Casaluna Eucalyptus Oil + Peppermint Oil I picked these up on a target run and really liked them! It’s a great price point for an individual oil and has great throw.

Woolzies Breathe Blend I’ve talked about this brand ad nauseum on here [I pretty much include one of these blends in every empties], but this one in particular was so good. It’s part of their therapeutic collection and, especially for this time of year, I HIGHLY recommend it. These smell so good and really do help us breathe easier.

Colgate Renewal Toothpaste Toothpaste is another category I’m not loyal in, and this was one was good. If you have sensitive gums, I definitely recommend this. My dentist said she saw an improvement in my gums, and I didn’t do anything different but start this.

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Eye You know the concentrate is my #1 beauty item of all time, so I wanted to give the eye cream a go. It’s lovely! It smells so good, blends in so nicely, and really does help with undereye bags. If you’re an eye cream lover/experimenter, I think you will enjoy this one.

OGX Coconut Oil Miracle Body Wash – Y’all know I am not loyal to body washes [which seems to be a theme in my shower LOL]. I love some high end ones but I will often just go for a cheap option. I love that OGX is Sulfate Free and this one smelled so good! It was also pretty moisturizing. I’ll probably go back to this in the future. For $6, can’t beat it.

StriVectin Anti Wrinkle Intensive Moisturizing Concentrate – Oh my gosh, you guys. This stuff is AMAZING. I swear it is Botox in a bottle!! I have really bad forehead wrinkles and I have noticed a SIZEABLE difference since using this. I wish I had taken some before and after pics. My girlfriend gifted me a set from this brand for Christmas as she swears by the brand, and I can see why. It is pricey but a little goes a long way and you definitely see results. I will be dabbling in this brand more for SURE.

Repeat Empties: Tinkle Razor // Dr Teals Foaming Bath // Oxy Powder Pills // L’Oreal Infallible Spray
