Look for Less – Oxblood and Leopard for $100

For my second Look for Less post, I wanted to chat about one of my absolute FAVORITE fall shades – oxblood. The deep red is the perfect color for fall and is so, so versatile. This shade goes with everything from solid black and grey to more fun prints like leopard and stripes. The pieces I’m going to show are going to match leopard with oxblood, but if leopard isn’t your style, feel free to swap out the spots for a solid color.

This look is inspired by this snap from Pinterest:
Here are the pieces you’ll need to create this look:
1.) Cuffed Boyfriend Jeans – I am loving boyfriend jeans. Not only are they so comfortable, but they also look really polished with the right pieces. Forever 21 has a ton of affordable varieties, and I find the fit is just right. These can be cuffed or un-cuffed, which makes them all the more versatile.
2.) Oxblood Sweater- Ah, oxblood, You gorgeous color, you. I just cannot say enough about this shade. Sweaters, manis, shoes. It just looks good. I like this off-the-shoulder sweater, which is perfect for a fall transitional piece.
3.) Leopard Slip-Ons– I used to despise leopard print. I just could never pull it off. However, I’ve slowly become addicted to it. I now am the proud owner of leopard shoes, scarves, tops, jewelry, and every other piece you could think of. To me, leopard has become like stripes. It just goes with everything. I LOVE these slip-ons. Comfy enough for everyday but add just a touch of flair to the look. If you’re apprehensive about leopard, try it on something basic like these shoes. You won’t regret it. I promise.
4.) Olive Scarf– I love olive. Another fall shade I can’t get enough of. This scarf is the perfect complement to the deep tones of the sweater and the fun print on the shoes. Olive and leopard are a match made in heaven for me.
5.) Black Wristlet– I wanted to go with a basic bag to complete the look because of all the color and print going on everywhere else. This wristlet from Target is equal parts functional and edgy. Another bonus is that you probably already own a basic black bag, so that could give you some wiggle room if you wanted to splurge on one of the other pieces needed for this look.
