March Empties

I don’t know about you guys, but I actually had a great March all things considered. Between getting the vaccine, sunshine/warmer days, and summer and our “new normal” inching closer, I’m filled with hope. Let’s dive into the products that got me through this month, as there are a lot of new faces in the lineup:

L’Oreal Futur-E Moisturizer – For $8, this is a real winner. It has SPF in it and has a smooth and easy formula that blends in nicely. It doesn’t leave a white cast and is the perfect moisturizer to layer under makeup or BB/CC creams. It’s rare to find a moisturizer with SPF in it for under $10, and this is the one. I’ll definitely repurchase this in the future.

Bliss Clarifying Gel Cleanser c/o – I got this line in PR and I really like it! Bliss and DermaE are two affordable brands I’ll always recommend. While I don’t struggle with acne, during this stage of life [espeically with wearing masks], I’ll take all the help I can get. This smells so fresh and really gets all the dirt off.

Up & Up 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover – This stuff is awesome. For $1 you can’t beat it. It gets even the most stubborn colors off. It does leave your hands a bit dry but I just put on some hand treatment after and I’m good to go.

Nature’s Bounty B-12 – I talked about these in my supplements post and I stand by that. I love these for a boost of energy. They’re affordable and just one pill a day.

L’Oreal Magic Root Pen – This thing really is magic. If you have grays that are sparse and stringy, this will be your best friend in-between colorings. It’s basically mascara for your hair. I love having this on hand [especially over the last year when hair appointments weren’t happening].

L’Oreal Unlimited Mascara – This mascara is amazing. This is one my favorite launches of the last few years. It gives length like few others. While I will layer another on top for volume, the brush on this does an amazing job separating. At $9, it’s worth the buy.

L’Occitane Shower Oil – I had talked about this before but wanted to revisit it since my opinion has changed. I LOVE this stuff. I scored the giant bottle during the Nordstrom sale and it’s lasted me forever. It’s thick and creamy and so nourishing. I even just skip shaving cream now and use this. The smell is so dreamy and I do think it’s worth the money now. I still recommend the Carols’ Daughter Almond line, but this is so good.

Old Whaling Co Seaberry Body Butter – I had talked about this brand before, and while I liked that one, the scent of this one was a bit too much for me. I do recommend the line, but unless you’re a fan of heavily scented moisturizers, I’d try a different on than this variety.

Repeat Empties: Tinkle Razor // Woolzies Oil // REN Body Serum // L’Oreal Voluminous Primer
