November Empties

Hello hello! It’s crazy how the beginning of this year dragged on and now it’s flying by. This month was a busy one and also brought the beginnings of lockdown part 2, so I know more staying home is in our future. I used up a ton of old and new favorites this month, so let’s dive in:

Necessaire Eucalyptus Body Wash – Ok, for real, WHAT is the hype on this about?! I bought it after seeing every influencer and their mom share it. It’s *fine*; nothing special, and certainly nothing worth $25! This is truly a mystery to me. Ok fine, it’s clean and it smells nice. But, like, I could buy 3 of a different body wash that has similar benefits for that price?! This is one product I just cannot understand the hype around.

Derma-E Deep Pore Cleansing Wash c/o – Derma-E never fails me. I will never get over how effective, clean, and affordable these products are. While I don’t struggle with acne a ton, especially with wearing masks now, I did see a few spots pop up here and there. The tea tree made my shower smell like a spa and I felt a true, deep clean with this.

Garnier Micellar Foaming Cleanser – Y’all know the towelettes in this range are the GOAT, so I wanted to give the cleanser a try. At first, I didn’t think it did much. But, over time, I realized that if I didn’t use this, my makeup never truly came all off. I use this to double cleanse in the shower [I used this before the Pore Cleansing Wash] and I really think it does the job and does it well.

Drunk Elephant D Bronzi Sunshine Drops – This has become a holy grail product for me. I’m already onto my next bottle. I mix a pump of this into my moisturizer and it gives the BEST glow! The pollution protectant is an added bonus. I highly recommend this.

Vanicream Gentle Wash – Over the summer, Dillon’s eczema would flare up here and there and this gentle wash really helped. We would pump a few pumps into his bath and it would foam up and create bubbles that soothed his skin. It’s under $10 so if your little ones struggle with problem skin, give this a go.

Kids Crest with Fluoride – Once Dillon turned 3, his dentist recommended we could start with fluoride toothpaste. Crest is a tried and true favorite in this house, so we gave this a go. He loved the flavor so I’ll call that a win.
