October Empties

As always, I can’t believe we’re done with another month. And next up are the holidays! This month finished up a lot of haircare, plus a few other gems I wanted to discuss with you guys. Let’s dive in.

HAIR CARE

Shu Umera Sheer Laquer Spray – I shared this micro-fine finishing spray on my Hair tutorial [which is saved on my BEAUTY BITS highlight on Instagram] and I really love this spray. It gives me a good hold but easily brushes out so I can re-style the next day.

L’Oreal Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo – I really like this dry shampoo. While it wasn’t the best I’d ever tried, I enjoyed the smell and there was very little white cast. I’d recommend it if you’re looking to try out a new one.

Garnier Wonder Mask – I bought this on a whim and figured it’d be good to try since the results last 4 weeks and I wash my hair so infrequently. It was really easy to apply in the shower and it did leave my hair really soft. For a couple bucks, it’s worth a shot if you’re into hair masks.

BABY

Dapple Baby Calming Bath c/o – I got sent this in PR and we really liked it! Dillon gets a bath daily and always wants bubbles, so I want a product that isn’t harsh but is still fun for him. I will probably buy in this in the future since it’s under $10!

L’Oreal Kids Shampoo – We use this a few times a week to wash his hair and I like that it’s paraben-free. This is super affordable and a good option for your littles, especially in the summer when they get sweaty!

SKIN CARE

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream – This is it. THE eye cream. You never need another. Well, maybe a different one for night, but this is THE best daytime eye cream. I swear my under eyes are lighter and brighter since using this. It layers beautifully under concealer. It’s just the best. I have a few other eye creams I have to [begrudgingly] use up, but you bet your bottom dollar you’ll see this in my empties again in 2020 [and years to follow that].

L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleanser – I really, really love this skincare line. I called out the mask option in this post, but this cleanser is just as good. I love the clay to foam texture, and this really did a great job of getting all the gunk off my face and my pores felt so open and fresh after using this. Especially if you have oily skin, I definitely recommend this.

Vitafusion Women’s vitamins – I had previously used the probiotic vitamin from this range, but wanted to give the women’s ones a go since they had an energy benefit. I liked these, but didn’t love them. I didn’t notice a tremendous difference in the energy department, but for an affordable gummy vitamin, they were fine.
