October Empties

Is anyone else both relieved and alarmed at how fast the months are flying in 2020? I, for one, will be happy to see this year go, and I’m looking forward to the holidays but also dreading the cold coming up! Ha! This month used up a ton of old favorites, as well as a few new items that both delighted and disappointed. Let’s dive in:

Lil Critters Organic Multi Vitamin: These are the vitamins we give Dillon in addition to the probiotic and we are loving this regimen. Knock on wood, he’s stayed healthy for a long time now and he calls them his “treats”. We will continue to ride this train for a while.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum: I’m not sure if it’s because I just had a trial size of this, but I didn’t see a difference with this. It’s very pricey and there are a lot of other serums I love, so I won’t be repurchasing this. I have not had much luck overall with this brand, and this was no exception. I’d recommend this over that.

Bobbi Brown Lip Tint: I bought this during the Nsale LAST year and I just got around to finishing it. While I liked it [it was decently moisturizing and a nice sheer wash of color], for the price, I’m not sure it’s my favorite. I think I’d rather go back to the Lip Glow over this.

Crest 3D Whitening Therapy Toothpaste: We really liked this toothpaste. The taste was really good [which I was kind of afraid of because of the charcoal and tea tree] and I do think I saw a difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I would repurchase this in the future.

Bliss Vitamin C Serum c/o: I’ve shared a bunch of Vitamin C serums in the past, and I’m generally pretty picky, but I really liked this one! Especially for the price, I felt like my skin looked and felt super moisturized and bright while using this. If you’re newer to skincare, I’d recommend this as a good serum to start out.

New Age Hemp Gummies: We have been taking these for a while now, and they really help us wind down after a long day. I always felt like I slept great after taking these. They’re a bit pricey, but if you’re looking to dabble in Hemp/THC/CBD, these are a great starter option.

Tea Tree Essential Oil: I love this oil to have on hand for making linen sprays, using as a spot treatment on pimples, and putting on our wool dryer balls for a disinfecting element.
