October Empties

October was another whirlwind month. While there was no travel, I started my new job and we had a ton of social things which were super fun. I finished up a ALOT of products so let’s dive in.

Bliss Block Star SPF 30 Daily Sunscreen c/o: I love this product. I use this on my no makeup-makeup days and I love that it’s slightly tinted and a higher SPF. I usually mix in a facial oil and it’s a great base.

The Laundress No. 10 Detergent: I’ve RAVED about the Le Labo one before but this one fell flat. I don’t know if I got a bad bottle but this didn’t smell at all. I’d skip this scent/offering.

The Laundress Bleach Alternative: Loved this. A great clean alternative for bleach. I love using this on my sheets and towels so it cleans well without having the heavy bleach scent. I will rebuy this.

Furrlandia Hemp Calming Treats: Lila is the most anxious dog I’ve ever met and I truly do feel like these help calm her down. I’ve already repurchased and plan to keep giving her these until she’s a few years old. If you have an anxious dog, I’d recommend giving these a try.

Native Cucumber & Mint Deodorant: This was *fine*. I’m not entirely sold on the natural deodorant movement, but this did smell good. I’m not sure it was anything mind-blowing, but it did the job.

Charlotte Tillbury Full Fat Mascara: This.sucks. I had such high hopes for this sample but I used it a few times and just threw it out. It is SO dry and flaky and did not give me any length or volume to note. Save your coin.

Tarte Salt Lyfe Lipstick: This is a universally gorgeous shade IMO. The formula was pigmented but not drying. I would recommend trying out Tarte lip products.

L’Oreal Infallible Eyeliner: I rarely have duds from L’Oréal, but this was unfortunately one of them. This pencil was super dry and did not glide on well. The tip kept breaking, too. If you want a good color liner from L’Oréal, I highly recommend this range.

Glamglow Instapout Lip Treatment: This is a great lip treatment. It tingles a bit and hydrates and gives a really nice look. It’s pricey and seems like they have different shades now. If you’re a lip product junkie, I’d recommend trying this out. It lasts forever, too!

Newport + Home Rosemary Mint Hand Soap: These are from Costco but worth a shoutout. It is $6 for 4 bottles. SIX DOLLARS! They look so lux and smell so good. If you’re a Costco member and see these, grab them! They’d make for a gorgeous and affordable hostess gift, too. Tie some dish towels with a ribbon and you’re good to go.

Rae Destress: I am so impressed by these only a few days in. I take 2 at night and feel like I sleep better and just wake up calmer. I am able to get through my mornings and days so much easier it seems. I’m not sure if it’s placebo or what, but I am a believer!

L’Oreal Brow Stylist Shape & Fill: At first I wasn’t a fan of this, but I grew to love it. It really gives you that spiky, full look while keeping them in place. If you prefer smaller strokes, this may not be for you, but I did end up loving this brow pencil.
