Plaid + Full Skirt

To say my husband did not like this outfit is an understatement. I came downstairs and he said “are you Mary Poppins?!”. It was hysterical. I didn't care one bit, though, because I truly felt like the belle of the fall ball in this look. It was definitely more whimsical than my normal looks, but I loved the color palette as well as the way this look fit my frame. I wore it to a party to celebrate our friends' wedding anniversary, and it was super comfortable for a long night out plus provided just the right amount of warmth on that rather cool evening. I think the moral of this story is that when you wear what YOU feel great in, you can't go wrong.
