I have been seeing power suits circling the web and knew I wanted to put my own spin on it. I loved this pink moment from Sarah & Tamryn but wanted to put my own spin on it. This blazer [also seen here] has been a serious workhorse in my closet and I knew that if I paired it with a work-appropriate skirt [last seen in this more casual post], I’d have my ideal power suit. Once the seasons change, I love incorporating the corresponding textures [like bamboo and raffia, in this occurrence] and I definitely could see myself wearing this to a business meeting. I also love the fact that all the pieces in this look have been both dressed up and down and could come together to create the ultimate power combo. I love keeping my closet fresh by imagining new ways to style old favorites. What do you guys think of power suits?!
