I recently got to go to San Diego for a 3 day work trip. We stayed right on the beach in Oceanside and it was AMAZING. The view and weather was perfect. While majority of our time was spent in meetings, we did get to venture out a bit and I wanted to share what I wore and the couple of things we got to do and see.

Seriously, this place is just as gorgeous as everyone says it is!
Day 1 – Arrived in Oceanside and grabbed lunch at Bagby Beer Company. The fish tacos were really good the and the place was super cute.
I finally got to wear my palm print jacket from Judith March and it was perfect for the trip. I paired it with my lip tee for a bit more sass [that would be perfect for Valentines Day! it’s only $9]. This week of meetings was casual so I was able to wear jeans, but this would’ve been really cute with black jeans/pants, too.
Day 2 – That morning we went and grabbed coffee and breakfast sammies at The Cup and that sausage/egg/cheese was one of the best I’ve ever had! The staff was really friendly and it was an adorable spot.
For this day, I threw on my new graphic tee [I am loving this brand for affordable options], favorite white mom jeans, and a jean jacket for an extra layer.

In the afternoon, we got to go gray whale watching while drinking Gray Whale gin! It was so fun and we saw a ton of dolphins and even caught a whale in migration!
Afterwards, we hung out at our house but we were able to catch some really killer sunsets at night.
Day 3 – More meetings and then it was time to head home, but I couldn’t leave without rocking one more palm print piece!
While this was definitely a busy, whirlwind trip, I feel like I got to experience Oceanside in the best way and definitely will go back to explore San Diego properly next time. Thanks for stopping by!
