September Empties

Another month come and gone. This month was actually quite busy between our trip to Wisconsin, Dillon’s birthday, and then Mike’s birthday! I definitely savored the activities and family time, though, because the rest of the year looks bleak. No plans, no trips, and lots of staying home [in colder temps] is in our future! There were a lot of newbies around here this month so here’s what I used up:

Smarty Pants Kids Probiotic Gummies: These are new to Dillon’s routine and we love them. He calls them “treats” and, especially as we go into flu season, I love that probiotics help both gut health and immunity. The reviews are great on these and we’re already on the second bottle.

Antica Farmcista Iron Wood Reed Diffuser c/o: I love these diffusers and the PR team was kind enough to send me this. This is a great scent for fall. The scent is described as rich blend of herbs, woods and spices starts with an herbaceous medley of sage, ambrette seed, and basil. An earthy infusion of vetiver, birch and violet leaf blends with an aromatic accord of cardamom, pepper and black tea. Warm, creamy notes of sandalwood and rye balance the cool, dry notes of ironwood to complete this unforgettable fragrance.

Fresh Hesperides Grapefruit Body Lotion: I got this in a hotel I think and I loved it. It’s definitely very scented but very nourishing. Not sure I’ll purchase this in the near future, but it’s a nice body lotion if you’re looking for one. I do love fresh as a brand.

Lemongrass Essential Oil: This is one of my go to oils for the kitchen. It smells fresh and nice and helps cover up odors from cooking.

Tarte H2O Boost: This is a gel-based moisturizer that I used up while we were at the lake. If you have oily skin, this might be too much, but if you like gel moisturizers and have drier skin, you may love this.

DermaE Vitamin C Serum c/o: The DermaE PR team sent this over and I really liked it! It’s definitely more liquidy than the Vitamin C Serums I gravitate to [like this one], but if you’re newer to skincare, this is a good entry level serum.

Mrs. Meyers Lavender Hand Soap: This is the best hand soap EVER. I’ve gone through many of these and realized I never shared it here. I always get compliments when people use it at our house [back when we used to have people over!] but it’s seriously so, so good.

The Laundress Fabric Fresh Spray: This is divine! I like having a fabric spray for our bedding and I love this scent so much. I got it in a set from the Laundress and I will probably re-purchase this in the future. It makes your house/bedding smell like a fancy hotel.

Dr Teals Purify & Hydrate Bubble Bath: This is a great bubble bath that is super affordable. I haven’t been having many baths lately, but as we get into the colder months, I imagine I probably will. Definitely check out this line if you want a good, cheap bubble bath that the whole family could use. We’ve used it in Dillon’s bath and he calls it the “blue planet bubbles” because of the label. Ha!
