Yellow Lace

This yellow dress is another gem I took out from hiding this weekend. I haven't worn this dress since I wore it in our engagement photos (here and here) over 2 years ago! This is one of those pieces that I'll probably never get rid of, no matter how old I am, just because it holds such special memories for me. Much like the dress that I wore to my HS reunion, that I had also worn to my bridal shower, this dress will always remind me of one of the greatest times of my life. However, as good as it looks on a hanger, I wanted to bring it back out and style it a little differently, a little more casually. Our friends had a housewarming party on Saturday night and this was perfect for mixing and mingling. I love adding new accessories to old favorites to give it a different spin.
