I’m back with July empties and there is so many body products this time around! In the summer, I am all about having dewy, soft, and hydrated skin. I guess it makes sense that I go through lotion like it’s my job! There’s also some hair care and baby stuff in the mix so let’s get into it. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these!
Baby
be good Be Polite body wash c/o – I got this in PR and was so excited to try it. It is free of lots of the junk you don’t want to expose your kids to [parabens, sulfates, etc] so I knew I’d feel good using this on D during bath time. It smells amazing and the message is super sweet. The set comes with a hair conditioner and lotion, too! It is a tad pricey if you compare it to Johnson’s baby or Aveeno baby, but if you’re looking to spoil a new mama for a baby shower, this would be a really thoughtful gift! I’m still working on the conditioner and lotion but may purchase down the road.
Body/Skin
Moroccan Oil Body Rose Shower Milk c/o bluemercury – The team at bluemercury kindly sent me a gift card to shop the site so I splurged on this item. I love bougie skincare but often hate spending my own money on it so thought this would be a good opportunity. If you LOVE rose scents, you will probably love this shower milk. While it was very conditioning for my skin, I found the scent to be slightly too aggressive. So for that reason, especially for the price, it wasn’t my favorite. But like I said, if you love rose, you may want to give this a try to treat yourself!
Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve – This is my go-to hand cream. I think I’ve even included this in empties before! There is a tube by my bed, in my desk drawer, and in my purse! It really does the job like no other. With all the hand and bottle washing I do, this saves my dry and cracking hands. I cannot recommend this enough. This is always a repurchase for me.
Pacifica Indian Coconut Mini Body Butter – This was a stocking stuffer from my girlfriend last Christmas and was great to throw in my diaper bag. The smell reminds you of a tropical vaca and your hands are so soft after using it. At only $5, it’s a great option to keep on hand or in your car.
Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Lotion – Flowerbomb is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. I ordered a set last year which came with this lotion. I loved using this on my legs and arms when I was getting ready for a night out to extend the fragrance. It just smells so divine.
Revitalift Bright Reveal Cleanser – I mentioned the moisturizer that goes with this in this post and I just got around to finish the cleanser. I really, really love this cleanser. I am someone who is always looking for glowy skin and this has really brought my face back to life.

Hair
Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner – I’m really not one to branch out when it comes to haircare. My hair is absolutely wild and unruly so once I find something that works, I tend to stick to it. My girlfriend actually got me this for Christmas and I was skeptical. Boy, was I wrong. This is my new holy-grail conditioner. My hair never felt softer or easier to style. Since I ran out, I tried something else I have in my stash and I really miss this! I have to repurchase because it’s that good. If you have any texture or coarseness to your hair, I really recommend giving this a go! As I mentioned, I got this for Christmas and just ran out so a little goes a long way.
Cosmetics
Hanalei Lip Treatment – This lip mask is amazing! I’ve tried literally every one under the sun and this truly works. I put this on before bed and when I woke up, my lips were still wet! Not to mention crazy soft and plump. I’m currently using this but will probably bounce between the two as they’re the best I’ve tried.
