January Empties

Did anyone else think January FLEW by?! Even under normal circumstances, January is always such a dragger. For whatever reason, be it the inauguration, the vaccines slowly starting to roll out, or the unusually warm temps we’ve had, this January actually felt hopeful after a long time. My empties this month sort of reflect that. Lots of supplements and home fragrance that kept us feeling good from the inside out. I’m really looking forward to the next few months as things start to slowly return to a new normal. Onward and upward, friends!

Laneige Sleep Mask: This is a tough one for me. I did actually really like this product. It has a silky, hydrating texture and is decently thick to work as an overnight mask. The scent is DIVINE. I truly would put this on and collapse into my pillow to go to sleep. However, because I will NEVER abandon my GOAT skincare product, I kind of felt like this was overkill. I’m not sure I needed both. For that reason, I don’t think I’ll repurchase this. However, if you’re looking for a sleeping mask, I would recommend this. I wish they sold that scent in a pillow spray. It lasts forever, too!

Woolzies Holiday Essential Oils: I am OBSESSED with these. They come in a bunch of different fragrance combos and 3 bottles cost $16. The winter one lasted me most of November, all of December, and some of January. That is so much cheaper than a candle and I would have these going in my kitchen, office, and bedroom almost constantly. I finished the winter one just in time to start a new one and I will be buying these for the foreseeable future. I only use them for aromatherapy in my diffusers, but the scents are so good and it’s so much more economical than candles and better for us! I highly recommend these.

Up&Up Deep Cleaning Pore Strips: These are just ok. If you use the Biore ones, these aren’t as good, but still do a decent job for a much lower price.

HUM Nutrition Here Comes the Sun Vitamin D: After my well check with my doctor last fall, he identified a Vitamin D deficiency in me [which apparently can be common in POC]. He prescribed me a super-charged dose for 6 weeks and then advised me to work a supplement into my routine. I grabbed these as I’ve had good experiences with the brand in the past and I really liked these, too! I included them in my supplement routine post and they are super easy to take with no weird aftertaste.

Derma-E Advanced Peptides & Collagen Serum c/o: I got this in a PR package and have been mixing it with my moisturizer and bronzi drops and really liked it! 2 pumps was enough to give me a good layer of it and I do feel like my skin has been plumper. If you need a non-vitamin C serum that has collagen, I’d recommend this!

colgate optic white toothpaste: This is our current go-to toothpaste. I do think it helps with whitening and the flavor is good. What else is there to say about toothpaste?!
