March Beauty Empties

Who else cannot believe that March has come to an end?! This month was super busy, between travels, getting sick, changes at work, and everything in between. With all the craziness came some new products. Some were good, some were bad, so read on to see what I finished up and my unfiltered thoughts on each item.

COSMETICS

Infallible Pro Setting Spray [Travel Size] – This is my all-time favorite setting spray. It does the best job, doesn’t smell weird, isn’t sticky, and it’s just perfect. I finished this on my trip to Orlando and I immediately got another travel size one so I’m never without it on my adventures.

SKIN/BODY

Benefit Hoola Boddess Cream – I bought this on a whim [I think to qualify for free shipping, ha!] thinking it would bronze me up during the pale winter months. With the name Hoola, I assumed it would have some tanning effect. Well, it didn’t. At least not on me. For the price, I was super disappointed that it was just a lotion. Yes, it smells nice. But, overall, I would not repurchase. I did see that it has been marked down since I purchased it, so if you want just a yummy smelling lotion, this will do the job. However, if you want it to tan you, don’t expect too much out of this.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum and Creme – I tried this out because I really wanted a brightening skincare routine for, again, the pale winter months. I wanted to bring some glow back to my skin and I wanted to start from the ground up. Now I will say I LOVE the serum. I will definitely repurchase that. In fact, I’m using another [more expensive] one right now, and I like the OH one better. The moisturizer, on the other hand, has an overwhelming smell that I just can’t get over. I will not go back to that one, but the serum is bomb.

philosophy. cinnamon buns body wash – I bought this as a treat over the holidays. It lasted forever, clearly! The smell of cinnamon buns just reminds me of Christmas morning and this was such a special in-shower experience during the cold, winter months. I love this brand for body washes. While I won’t repurchase this smell probably until next winter, it was a good one while it lasted. If you love super sweet smells, this may be a good year-round option for you!

Garnier Clean Towelettes – While these aren’t as good as the Micellar ones, they’re still decent. I don’t have much to say other than they were just OK. They did the job but I’ll go back to my Micellar ones next.

Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask – These are my favorite sheet masks of the moment. They’re super affordable [under $3, plus you can even get them more on sale] and they are SO hydrating! The purple one is my favorite but I love the blue one too. I keep a few of these on hand at all times and I can’t get enough of them.

MISC

Johnson’s Baby Natural body wash – This is my favorite body wash for Dillon. I notice that when I change it up his skin usually reacts. This is the one I always go back to.

Sweet Orange & Lemon Essential Oils – I use Sweet Orange for cleaning/bathroom to keep things smelling fresh and we use Lemon in conjunction with lavender and tea tree in Dillon’s room every night. These are definitely some of our most used oils.

So, there you have it. This isn’t too, too many products but a good mix of old favorites, new must-haves, and a disappointment. Have you tried any of these items?! Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, definitely! I’ve tried all the UD sprays [all nighter being my personal favorite] but this definitely helps with oil as I have a very oily T zone. My nose gets SUPER shiny and this definitely helps that!
