Hi everyone! Today I’m back with November’s installment of my empties. There’s a few more moisturizing items and some interesting items I got to try that were new to me. While there are definitely some ride-or-dies in this roundup, there are also some unique items that I was excited to try. I didn’t love everything so read on to see what I got my hands on the last few weeks.
COSMETICS
L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara in Blackest Black – I absolutely LOVE this mascara. It has become a holy grail for me. I get such great length and curl from this. It doesn’t flake on me and it looks amazing on. The price point for the benefit just can’t be beat.
beautyblender micro.mini – I got this in my Sephora PLAY Box and, good grief, I hate this little thing. It’s just too dang small! And I don’t even have large hands! I just could not get this to do anything for me. Maybe I’m just doing it wrong but I’ll stick with my full size sponge.
SKIN/BODY
Sephora Nourishing Mousse Oil – I originally got this after Casey recommended it and I love it! I will say I think it’s more of a summer moisturizer because your skin looks pretty shiny, but it looks amazing on my legs. I’ll skip it in winter but will definitely be repurchasing for bare legs season. Or, if you’re going on vacation it’d be a great option for that!
Kiehl’s Ultimate Hand Salve – This is my holy grail hand lotion and I literally keep a tube in my desk, purse, and bedside table. Nothing makes my hands softer than this. I highly recommend trying it if you love yourself a good hand cream.
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil – I bought this after Kathleen’s recommendation, but I’ll be honest, it’s not my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. But I think it’s kind of pricey for what it is. I swear by this brand and this brand for shower gels normally.
Garnier Micellar Towelettes – These are my all-time favorite towelettes. I include them in practically every other empties so I’ll leave it at that.
Tarte Eye Patches & Cream – I cannot recommend these enough! I got sucked into this set on the way out of Sephora and I’m obsessed! It’s the perfect set for traveling and it comes with a mascara that I also love. I definitely will be repurchasing this as it’s a great staple to keep in your travel bag. The eye patches feel amazing after a long trip and the cream wears so well under my makeup. I even included this in my beauty gift guide last week!
Fresh Rose Face Mask – I think I got this either as a reward or in my playbox, but I love it! It smells so good and my skin felt fresh and vibrant after using it. I got 5 or so uses out of this so enough to know that I do like and recommend it if you’re in the market for a new mask
MISC
Essential Oils [Frankincense, Peppermint, Orange] – I’ve been on the EO train for the last few months and I really am enjoying this adventure. As for Orange, I’ll mix a few drops in a spray bottle of water and use it to clean the counters and toilets. I also drop a few drops into our trash can to avoid smells. I use Peppermint every night with Lavender for the sleepytime blend. And finally I also diffuse Frankincense in Dillon’s room. I need to do more research on that one but if you have any favorite uses, leave them in the comments!
