Recent Empties

Hello and welcome to the last empties post of the year! I truly cannot believe Christmas is in 10 days! I’ve recently used up a ton of new [to me] products, which includes a lot of skin, body, and hair care, so let’s dive in!

Ponds Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream: This is your standard moisturizer though it definitely does that have that scent that will remind you of your m other or grandmother’s vanity. I don’t think I used it long enough to really notice the anti-wrinkle part, but it was a no frills moisturizer. It’s not very thick but it did feel hyrdating. If you have combo to oily skin, this will probably work for you.

Hyland’s Kids Cough & Mucus: Dillon had a terrible go with his allergies in the fall so we kept this on hand for nights when he was a bit sniffly. I like Hyland’s because it’s free of a lot of the junk that traditional cough syrups have and I do feel like this works pretty well.

Zarbees Kid’s Immune Support Elderberry Gummies: I have shared a million different elderberry gummies I’ve given to D over the years, and while none really stand out as super special, he really loved the taste of these.

WOW Dream Coat Spray: This is a product that absolutely lives up to the hype. My hair is noticeably softer and shinier when I use this before heat. I will definitely be repurchasing this.

Versed Keep it Supple Body Oil c/o: I got this in PR and I really, really loved this. I am a huge fan of body oils year-round, but especially in the colder and drier months. This one was not super heavy so it absorbed really quickly but still left my skin really soft. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend incorporating a body oil into your routine.

Hempz Pumpkin Spice & Vanilla Chai Scrub: This was a gift from my MIL and I absolutely loved this. The scent was incredible and the scrub was gentle yet effective. I mixed a little dollop of this with my Saltair body wash for an absolutely heavenly combo. Using this prior to the body oil was a dream for my skin. I really want to pop in store to smell the candy cane version!

L’Oreal Revitalift Invisible UV Shield SPF 50: I am an SPF evangelist and will always make sure that I am incorporating it to my facial care routine. I grabbed this one because I liked the SPF 50 and the “invisible” in the name was intriguing. I really enjoyed this as the last step of my skincare routine. It truly is a fluid product so it does not cake on top of your moisturizer. There was absolutely no white cast or heavy scent. I really enjoyed this and would recommend it if you’re in the market for a new facial sunscreen.
