Recent Empties

I skipped December empties since our India trip overlapped with the end of the month, so you get a double whammy this month! These are some of my favorite posts to write and I know you guys love them, too. Here’s what I’ve used up recently.

COSMETICS

Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara – I love, love, love this mascara. It gives you the best length and decent volume. I love putting this on first and topping it with Lash Paradise for the ultimate length and volume combo. This is probably my favorite luxury mascara besides the one in this post.

Billion Dollar Brows Eyebrow Pencil c/o – I got this when I did a promo with a retailer a while back and it took me forever to work through it. Honestly, I didn’t love this. The tip is pretty thick for an eyebrow pencil and I prefer a more precise tip, like the one from this post. If you have really fully, bushy brows, this may be for you.

SKIN/BODY/FRAGRANCE

Honest Company Lavender Hand Sanitizer – I have a million things of sanitizer around my house/car/purse/diaper bag [#preemie/toddlerprobs] and this one was really good! I loved the smell and it was compact enough to be tossed between bags. I’ll probably repurchase this in the future.

YSL Parisienne Perfume – This perfume is very pretty and feminine, but it’s a bit strong for my current tastes. I’m working through the big bottle of this [it came in a set] and after that I probably won’t repurchase. If you prefer strong scents, you may enjoy this, but I much prefer Black Opium to this one.

Le Labo ‘Santal’ Body Wash – Oh boy. I hate how I much I love this. I got this during my stay at The Robey and you better believe I stashed a few. This smells SO divine. It’s unlike any other body wash I’ve tried in that regard. I wouldn’t say it’s overly moisturizing or anything like that, but the scent is unreal. I may purchase this in the future and save it for date night or occasions where I could stand to smell a little sexy. It’s so good. Le Labo can do no wrong in my book.

Skinceuticals Phloretin CF Serum c/o – I worked with Skinceuticals back in September to promote this serum and this bottle has lasted me since then! It is INCREDIBLE. I swear my skin has been fuller and less damaged since using this. I love the pollution protection it provides and you can notice results almost immediately. I always love Skinceuticals and this product was no exception. The serums are pricey but last 3-4 months and give results like very few other products I’ve tried. If it fits in your budget, I highly recommend incorporating a Skinceuticals serum into your routine, whether it’s this one or this one.

Garnier Clearly Brighter Argan Nut Exfoliating Cleanser – I LOVED this. For the price point, it’s a great exfoliater, smells delicious, and is sustainably sourced! I love Garnier skincare and this was no exception. I will definitely repurchase this. I often double cleanse with this and the Skinceutricals cream cleanser, and I’m loving that combo.

DILLON

Havasu Elderberry Gummies – I’d heard people rave about elderberry for so long that I finally decided to give them a try this winter. Dillon has been taking them for 2 months now and I swear they work! He has hardly gotten sick at all recently and he took them while we were in India, as well, and came out of our trip [and many airports and public places] unscathed. I will definitely continue to give him these, especially during the months of October-February. We’re already on our second bottle! I definitely recommend these if you have a toddler you’re wanting to keep healthy.

Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Bath – I ordered this for Dillon and while it was *fine*, it didn’t create the amount of bubbles he prefers. The scent was very faint but nice. I’ll likely go back to this [which is way cheaper and creates way more bubbles]. If you have a kiddo who is more sensitive to smells, you may like this for them.
