It’s been a while since I’ve done a Splurge vs Steal post so I thought I’d come back with my picks for watches. I love watches and have an embarrassingly large collection. A classic timepiece is a wardrobe necessity and a nice watch can be a great investment. Below are my picks for the most classic styles that will fit any budget.
GOLD WATCH WITH A COLORED FACE
Gold watches are truly a must-have wardrobe piece. The colored face brings a modern twist to this old classic. The hot pink is feminine and fun, but there are gorgeous versions of blues and greens out there.

CLASSIC SILVER WATCH
In my opinion, these are the watches that will withstand the test of all fashion times. This style is classic and elegant, yet attainable and approachable. This is the style of watch that is worth a big investment, as you will wear it for years and years.

BLACK LINK WATCH
Black watches always look so elegant. With a thin chain link band, they sit nicely on the wrist without making a huge statement. These watches look gorgeous with evening wear or even with jeans and a white tee.

ROSE GOLD WATCH
Rose Gold is such a feminine shade. It instantly dresses up any outfit yet is functional enough for everyday. I think in addition to silver and gold, every woman needs a rose gold watch in their collection.
WRAP WATCH
The wrap watch is a fun alternative to the traditional link watch. The leather bands are functional yet look stunning on. It almost acts like a bracelet in addition to the watch. I love the classic cognac color on these options.
