Bourbon Apple Pie – Holiday Cocktail Recipe

Who else can’t believe Thanksgiving is two weeks from tomorrow?! As you start to party plan, I wanted to share a holiday cocktail recipe courtesy of Mike with you guys. I had some requests for holiday food + drink content so hopefully you enjoy this! As the taste tester, I can assure you this drink is super yummy, not too sweet, and sure to warm you up from the inside out. Cheers!

Ingredients:

  • 3 Parts Rye Whiskey [Mike loves Michter’s]
  • 1 Part Apple Cider
  • Orange Bitters [we swear by Angostura]
  • Bing Cherries & Cinnamon Sticks for garnish

Directions:

  1. Mix the 3 parts of the whiskey, 1 part apple cider, and 2 splashes of bitters in a shaker
  2. Pour into a rocks glass over an ice cube [we use this tray]
  3. Garnish with cherries on a steel toothpick & cinnamon stick
  4. Enjoy!
