Hey y’all! July FLEW by and I can’t believe school starts so soon! If you follow me on Instagram, you’d know that June/July were a bit of a tough patch for us. We had a LOT going on [healthwise, workwise, familywise, etc] and I’d say these empties reflect that. Here’s hoping August goes much smoother! Here’s what I used up lately.
Delsym Cough Syrup – We had a bit of sickness run through the house in June, but luckily Dillon’s only/worst symptom was this annoying cough. Per his ped, I’ve found this cough syrup to work the absolute best. It’s a non-drowsy formula so we can give it to him before school and he’s out the door.
Replica Beach Walk perfume – I talked about this in my perfume round-up post and I stand by it. This is MY summer scent for sure. One spritz and I’m immediately transported to sun and fun. I love Replica fragrances and this is a must for me.
Rae in the mood Supplements – These were given to me by a friend who got them in a sample bag. The general vibe of them is more, ahem, bedroom focused, but I will say I LOVED these for general energy and mood boosting. I actually felt more patient, less anxious, and more able to tackle my day with these. I have another bottle and if I feel the same after that one, I will definitely repurchase. Derma E Beauty Sponge c/o – I got this in PR and while I usually love everything from this brand, this is a hard no from me. I’ve tried lots of beauty blenders and dupes, and this one is hard as a rock, doesn’t enlarge in size, but somehow also soaked up ALL the product so none was left on my face. Just, no.
StriVectin Super C Retinol Serum – I mentioned how I’ve been dabbling in StriVectin here, and this product is EPIC. I used to always go for CE Ferulic for my Vitamin C needs, but this is way cheaper AND has retinol. I love, love, love this and saw a noticeable difference in my overall glow and texture. I highly recommend this brand. It’s pricey but you SEE results almost immediately.
