Nashville Travel Diary

This post is a long overdue but today I’m sharing photos from our trip to Nashville over New Years! We spontaneously decided to jet down there [it’s only a 3.5 hour drive from us!] and I am SO glad we did! We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland and it was true Christmas magic. If you haven’t been there, I HIGHLY recommend it! The hotel is massive. Think Vegas, The Wisconsin Dells, a cruise ship, and Great Wolf Lodge all rolled into one. There are tons of bars and restaurants, 2 pools [they’re building a huge waterpark this year, too], a gym/spa, and more than I can even list. We spent a ton of time exploring the hotel [Dillon loved running up and down the massive hallways] and we also checked out some Nashville staples like Fido, Hattie B’s, and Pancake Pantry. We explored Vanderbilt’s campus and also showed Mike down Broadway St. It was the perfect 48 hour getaway and we will definitely be back. So, below are some of my favorite snaps from the trip!

Dillon couldn’t wait to run and explore the property!

There was greenery and waterfalls everywhere in the hotel!

Gorgeous Christmas lights everywhere

day one ensemble — plaid shirt is here

More greenery and water in the hotel

Christmas lights at night in the hotel

day two outfit for exploring the city — scarf is here

popped into Fetch for coffee and cider to warm up

Lunch at Hattie B’s was worth the wait!

The hallway by that [amazing] Christmas tree was so long so Dillon ran up and down forever!

Breakfast at Pancake Pantry

Exploring the hotel on our last day — boots and boot socks

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know in the comments what we should do on our next Nashville trip!
