10 Minutes, 9 Products, 1 Fresh Face

Today’s post is a little different but every time I do a “get ready with me” on my Instastories, I always get such great feedback! So, for today’s post, I thought I’d do a blog post version where I show how I do my minimal makeup routine that is quick and gives me an effortless glow for days that I’m on the go. I’ll list it out step-by-step and why I choose the products I do and which brushes/techniques I use. Let me know if you like this kind of post!

Step 1 — Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte : I absolutely adore this tinted moisturizer. It has a physical SPF built in [perfect for summer!] and truly does me a nice glow from within. It’s the perfect base for no-makeup-makeup looks. I just rub this all over my clean face with my hands.

Step 2 — L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Concealer : Next, I swipe a triangle of this product under both my under eyes and a little bit in my t-zone. I blend that in with a beauty sponge [I’m currently loving this one] or brush [like this one] and this is perfect for brightening up those pesky dark under eyes.

Step 3 — Tom Ford “Pieno Sole” Creme Blush : Before I go in with powder to set everything, I apply a quick bit of this onto the apples of my cheeks and an even smaller amount on the high points of my cheeks for a blush/glow combo that is absolutely gorgeous. I use my fingers for this and, really, a little bit goes a long way. I am obsessed with this product and it is worth every penny in my opinion. I can skip highlighter [I know, shocking] when I use this because I’m glowing just enough with just this.

Step 4 — Becca Hydra-Mist Setting Powder : Now that the cream products are all down, I set my under eyes and t-zone with this product [using this brush]. It truly locks everything in place, brightens the area, and helps minimize the look of my pores.

Step 5 — Urban Decay Beached Bronzer : I use this fluffy bronzer brush to apply this to the hollows of my cheeks for some definition and color. I adore this color for complexion and it gives me the perfect contoured look in a flash.

Step 6 — L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer : I love this brow pencil because the point is so small that it gives really natural and hair-like strokes. I fill my brows in very quickly with a few swipes of this.

Step 7+8 — L’Oreal Voluminous Base + Lash Paradise Mascara : Almost done! I apply the primer after I’ve curled my lashes [with this] and let that dry down for a few seconds before applying 2 coats of the Lash Paradise. This really opens up my eyes and makes my lashes look super long. Plus, the combo is super affordable!

Step 9 — Nars Afterglow Lip Balm : This is the most gorgeous lip balm for every day if you don’t want to pile on lipstick. It gives a pretty pink sheen and just a hint of sparkle that catches the light. It’s moisturizing and friendly for all skin tones.

So, there you have it. Less than 10 products and less than 10 minutes will get you a gorgeous and fresh look that you can wear every single day! Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments if there are any other effortless products I need to try.
