Spring/Summer Looks

Mulan Bun

You may be looking at this outfit and thinking it's pretty normal for me. Well, you're correct. What's different for me in this look is the hair. Honestly, before I worked for a beauty company, I never did anything to my hair other than straighten it. No color, no layers, no nothing. It was just straight. In the last few years, however, I've started experimenting with different colors, lengths, and styles. I've seen a lot of bloggers I love (like Aubrey and Katey) rock this half bun but never thought I could pull it off. I've been trying to not put heat on my hair everyday, so I gave this a go at an attempt to style 4 day old hair. I don't hate it! It's definitely different for me but was such an easy way to disguise dirty roots and let my curls from yesterday stay loose. The rest of the look is full of pieces I love. These shoes are the perfect pop of color and I love these shorts as an alternative to my rag & bone shorts that I wear all the time (like herehere, and here as of late) . The under $40 price tag doesn't hurt, either! So, that wraps up my out of the box looks for the week. I hope you've enjoyed them, because I sure did!
