Old Faves, New Ways

As I mentioned, I was in Chicago last weekend for my 10 Year HS Reunion. As I pined over what to wear in the previous weeks, I knew I just wanted to be comfortable. The event was held at a race track, so I also wanted something feminine and fun. Enter this little pink dress. You guys, I'm terrible. I haven't worn this dress since my bridal shower that Mike's family threw for me (pause for “awww”) in summer of 2013! I think I've held back wearing items I wore during that time because it was just so special. Anyway, this dress is comfortable as all get-out (and very forgiving, too!). The slight fullness of the skirt felt appropriate for the horsetrack and I wanted to pair it with fun accessories. Sidenote: I did not anticipate being out for 9 hours that day, and boy did my feet hurt! But I had packed my camera like a good little blogger with every intention of doing a full shoot but totally forgot because we were having such a good time. I still wanted to share the few pictures I did have because I love the way this look turned out. How do you guys remix old favorites?!
