I shared a more casual Valentine’s outfit idea earlier this week (don’t forget to enter the giveaway!), but today I wanted to share a more dressy option. I absolutely love mixing prints as a way to make a look more interesting (evidence here, here, and here). I wanted to go outside the traditional red dress for Valentine’s Day and put together this fun and feminine look. A striped coat is a closet staple for me and throwing it over a floral dress was a no-brainer. I would definitely wear this on a date night with Mike. The cut of this dress is lady-like but interesting paired with the bold sunnies and bag. This is hot pink done right! Side note: I feel like I’ve been on a lifelong search for the perfect black pump and these are a dream come true and under $70! What’s your date night go-to?
Dress: Piperlime (RIP, similar here + here + here + here) // Coat: C/MEO COLLECTIVE (similar here + here) // Heels: Sam Edelman (on sale!) // Bag: Kate Spade (similar here) // Sunnies: similar here // Necklace: Stella & Dot (borrowed from Liz) // Rings: here + here

February 3, 2016 at 3:34 pmThis is really cute! It doesn't scream Valentine's Day which I'm normally not crazy about. Instead its really cute and flirty which still makes it great for it! Plus, loving that pink cross body!
