June Empties

Happy [almost] July! I can’t believe another month has come and gone. Blame it on summer, but I am all about the glowy, dewy skin right now so I went through a ton of products to help me achieve that look. Some worked, some didn’t. Read on to see what I loved and didn’t love this month:

SKIN / BODY

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum – I shared that I had used a different Vitamin C serum in this post, and I had so much about DE that I wanted to give it a go. It was a pretty penny and it did definitely do amazing things for my skin. However, the smell is SO strong [you’ll see that in it’s reviews on Sephora, too] that I just couldn’t deal. Unfortunately I’ll be going back to my other one.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Towelettes – I picked up these towelettes to try and while they do have a ton of essence [which I love], they have a strong alcohol scent [which I did not love]. I’ll be going back to my holy-grail.

Yes to Vitamin C Mask – I picked this up on a whim from Target and I really liked it! It wasn’t mind blowing but I do feel it gave me a good glow.

Ole Henriksen Pore Balance Scrub – I really liked this scrub. It smelled really fresh and I did see a small difference in my pores since using this. I used this once or twice a week so this little bottle lasted a good bit.

Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream – I loveeeeee these hand creams. I keep one in my desk, one in my diaper bag, one in my purse, and one in my car. I will definitely repurchase this.

Body Shop Shea Shower Cream + Wild Argan Body Scrub – I adored this combo. I’d mix some of the cream with a bit of the scrub and not only did it smell amazing but it both moisturized and exfoliated my skin. I highly recommend both of these.

VII Code Eye Cream c/o –  I had this sent to me and I was super excited to try it out! It was very thick and hydrating so I used it before bed and my eyes did appear healthy and not puffy when I woke up in the morning. Definitely check them out if you like eye creams.

COSMETICS

NYX Dewy Finish Mist – I loved this spray. NYX and L’Oreal have the best setting sprays, in my opinion, and I truly love this one. For the price, I will repurchase.

L’Oreal Voluminous Primer – If you watch any of my GRWM on my Insta-stories, you’ll see me use this every.time. I cannot do my makeup with it. It makes such a difference in your lashes. I HIGHLY recommend this.

BABY

Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water – You know the drill with this. This is a must-have product for Dillon and I will repurchase this again.

Babyganic Foaming Hand Sanitizer – I’ve used one of these up before and I love having these for the diaper bag. It smells SO good and Dillon loves the foamy texture which makes it easier to apply on his hands while we’re out.

HAIR

Elizabeth & James Nirvana Dry Shampoo – I got suckered into this in the Sephora checkout line and I thought it was fine. It left a pretty big white cast but it smells SO good. I used it sparingly and it was good but I won’t repurchase for the price.

Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Mask – I got this as a sample and really loved it. My hair was so soft. This from the brand is my holy-grail product and I may purchase the full size of this to accompany it in the future.
