Hi guys! Happy JUNE! WHAT?! I can’t believe we started staying home in early to mid March and now it’s June. As the world opens back up, I just want to say I hope everyone can stay safe and healthy. I unintentionally took the entire month of May off blogging [whoops] but I’m so glad that the content I put out during quarantine [like my skincare routine, my top fragrances, bingeable TV shows, at-home workouts, and go-to toddler activities] all resonated and I hope they continue to remain helpful. That said, let’s dive into what products I finished up over the course of the last few weeks.
SKIN + BODY CARE
Skinceuticals Gentle Cream Cleanser c/o – I did a campaign with Skinceuticals last fall and I absolutely love this cleanser. I scraped out the very last bit and I was so sad when it was over. It smells amazing [like subtl grapefruit IMO], feels so gentle, and definitely deep cleans. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a new cream cleanser to try.
L’Occitane Almond Shower Shake – This was very disappointing. As the reviews say [that I should’ve read before purchasing] it’s super watery to the point where I had to pour it almost directly on my body and rub it in. It smells amazing but didn’t feel like it cleansed very well. Pass on this.
L’Occitane Almond Oil – This baby, however, is magic. It’s so versatile. You can add a few drops into your shower gel, bubble bath, body lotion, or even a bit onto the ends of your hair. The smell is unparalleled and I adore this product for hydration.
Bliss Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Moisturizer c/o – I got this in PR and I LOVED it. It smells amazing and I definitely feel like did a good job of brightening my skin. I definitely recommend this product [and brand] as a good, affordable option.
COSMETICS
L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Concealer – I grabbed this on a whim and ended up loving it. As the name says, it blends in really easily and does not crease AT ALL. It’s really brightening and I loved the formula. I will definitely repurchase this. I got the shade Fair N1-2 so it was a bit lighter than my foundation.
HOME
Aroma Santal Diffuser Oil – This is an incredible scent to put in your essential oil diffuser. It smells just like Le Labo but for a fraction of the cost. I have stopped buying candles just because it was becoming a very expensive habit, and this little bottle lasted me for months and made my house smell amazing every single day. I’ve already repurchased a new one!
HAIRCARE
Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner Spray – I would spray this on immediately after getting out the shower and it smells SO GOOD. I would then brush it out before adding in any of my heat/styling products. It was gentle but an effective detangler and moisturizer. Definitely check this line out.
