July Empties

Cue the same thing I say everything month: “HOW is this month over already”?! I know, I know. It really is a broken record around here but it’s so true! July was a super busy one for us. I had 2 trips [Chicago for 4th of July and Connecticut for work] plus we had visitors in town and a few parties/celebrations the remainder of the month. With that, I used up a bunch of products I’m excited to show you today. Let’s dive in.

Too Faced Primed & Peachy Primer: I got this in a Sephora playbox and I really liked it! I used it for travel and it was a good product to keep my oiliness at bay. I also have large pores on and around my nose and this did help minimize them. Plus, it smells like peaches! If you like high-end primers, give this a go.

Dr. Jart Ceramidin: I have combo skin that skews oily in the summer, and this cream is THICK. I think if you have dry skin you’d love this, but it felt like a lot for my skin, especially since it was not lacking in the moisture department. I like Dr. Jart but this product was just too much for my skin type.

Tree Hut Moroccan Rose Body Wash: I randomly picked this up with an ULTA gift card and I ended up loving it! It smells amazing, is sulfate-free, and super affordable. Definitely check out this brand for body care.

Bliss Rose Gold Rescue Face Wash c/o: I got this in PR and actually loved it! You know I love my rose scents, plus this brand is clean and this gentle cleanser really got all the gunk off my face. I will be re-purchasing this once I work through a couple back-up cleansers that I have. It really is a lovely product.

Kiehl’s Herbal-Infused Micellar Water: I love Kiehl’s herbal line and this was no exception! It smelled so fresh and clean and got all my makeup off in one swipe. I will be purchasing this in the future once I work through the full-size Micellar I already have! It’s a good one.

L’Oreal Infallible Glow-Lock Primer: I really liked this primer! It has a very subtle glow effect and I’d mix some in with my moisturizer [currently using this one again] and it created the perfect base for my makeup. It’s affordable and a nice product to have for summer. Give the Infallible line a go if you haven’t; there are tons of winners in there!

CeraVe PM Facial Lotion: This was a great moisturizer for before bed. It’s really lightweight and my skin felt refreshed and plump when I woke up. I really like CeraVe products [especially if you have any skin sensitivities] and this moisturizer did everything it said it would. Plus, it didn’t clog my pores or feel too heavy, which is key especially in summer.
